Job Purpose and Impact

We are welcoming applications from enthusiastic and self-driven individuals who are looking to kick start their career in agriculture and logistics on a fixed term 6 to 8 month assignment as Customer Support Representatives. This is an entry level role that may open exciting opportunities to progress internally to a permanent position with Cargill.

This role will support the grain and oilseed origination activities and manage enquiries from our Farmer customers both over the phone and email. Our Farmer Service Centre plays a key role in executing a successful harvest and you will be a part of that success. Key Accountabilities

Maintain systems and relationships that support origination volume targets
Pro-actively inform customers about contract status, invoices, contract balances and other information as required
Negotiate and book grain and oilseed purchase contracts
Execute customer service strategies
Provide support to improvement projects and commitments requiring a basic understanding of customer service practices and procedures
Handle basic issues and problems with a proactive and positive approach
Other duties as assigned Skills & Experience

Genuine interest in Agriculture and Logistics
Strong IT skills with the ability to learn and use multiple systems
Experience of providing excellent customer service
Ability to work effectively within a team
Proven ability to quickly build rapport
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, self-directed requiring minimal supervision
Ability to solve complex problems
Demonstrated persistence and resilience in relation to challenging tasks
